Clayson Benally is an internationally acclaimed Diné (Navajo) artist, performer, and cultural practitioner whose work spans music, dance, education, and traditional healing. A singer, drummer, hoop dancer, horse listener, silversmith, and traditional Navajo medicine practitioner. His work has been featured by NPR, PBS, ARTE TV, National Geographic, and numerous films, documentaries, and global media outlets.
Benally is widely recognized for using culture as a means to build understanding, unity, and respect for Indigenous Nations worldwide. He has collaborated with artists across the globe, sharing Diné culture through performance and storytelling, and is a longtime advocate for human rights, environmental protection, sacred site preservation, and youth empowerment.
